প্রফেসর কর্নেল (অব.) ডা. শোরমিন আরা ফেরদৌসী

Prof. Col. (Rtd) Dr. Shormin Ara Ferdousi is a pediatric oncologist in Dhaka, caring for children with cancer and blood disorders such as thalassemia. Her qualifications are MBBS, DCH and FCPS (Pediatrics). She completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Oncology at Tata Medical Centre, India, and on-the-job training in bone marrow transplantation there and at People Tree Hospitals, India. She is a pediatric bone marrow transplant specialist and formerly headed Pediatric Oncology at Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka. Her profile also notes her pioneering work in pediatric bone marrow transplantation in Bangladesh, including for thalassemia patients.
