Asst. Prof. Dr. Farida Yasmin SHUMI is a Chattogram-based obstetrician and gynecologist whose work also includes infertility care and surgery. Her qualifications are MBBS, DGO, MS (Gyne) and MSc in Sexual & Reproductive Medicine (UK). She is an Assistant Professor (Gyne) at Chittagong Medical College & Hospital, working in obstetrics and gynecology. She treats menstrual problems, hormonal imbalance, fibroids, PCOS and endometriosis, and provides pregnancy care, including high-risk pregnancies. Concerns about conceiving or changes in your periods are reasons to seek specialist advice. For consultations, she sees patients at Popular Diagnostic Center, Chittagong, between 7pm and 9pm on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays.
