Dr. Ismat Jahan Lima

Dr. Ismat Jahan Lima is the first female colorectal surgeon in Bangladesh and a highly accomplished specialist in colorectal (piles, fissure, fistula) and pelvic floor surgery in Dhaka. She holds an MBBS, BCS (Health), FCPS (Surgery) with a Gold Medal, MS in Colorectal Surgery, FACS (USA), and MRCS (UK). Dr. Lima is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Colorectal Surgery at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital. She treats a wide range of conditions such as hemorrhoids (piles), anal fissures, fistulas, rectal prolapse, pilonidal sinus, pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic constipation, fecal incontinence, colorectal polyps, and colon or rectal cancer . She provides consultation at Islami Bank Hospital, Mirpur (Sat, Mon & Wed: 2pm–4pm) and Alliance Hospital Limited, Shymoli (Sun, Tue & Thu: 3pm–5pm).
