Prof. (Dr.) A.B.M. Yunus

Prof. (Dr.) A.B.M. Yunus holds MBBS (India), MPhil Path (Hons) and FCPS (Haematology), with WHO training in haemato-oncology in Singapore and research in Thailand. A clinical hematologist in Dhaka, Prof. Yunus works at Bangladesh Medical University (Ex. PG Hospital) and is a WHO Research Fellow (Thailand) at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital. Prof. Yunus is also a Gold Medalist and a member of the American Society of Haematology and European Haematology Association. Patients with concerns about leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, thalassemia, bleeding or platelet disorders, multiple myeloma and bone marrow failure can seek care with the doctor. Appointments are available at Ibn Sina Diagnostic Center, Dhanmondi, from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday, and at Popular Diagnostic Center, Narayanganj, during the same hours and days. Green View Clinic sees patients from 11.30am to 2pm, except Monday and Wednesday. At Ibn Sina Hospital, Sylhet, visits are from 2pm to 7pm on the second and fourth Friday of each month.

PG Hospital)-এর সঙ্গে যুক্ত; তাঁর পদবি WHO Research Fellow (Thailand)। তিনি WHO Fellow in Haemato-oncology (Singapore) হিসেবেও প্রশিক্ষণ নিয়েছেন। লিউকেমিয়া, লিম্ফোমা, মায়েলোমা, রক্তস্বল্পতা, থ্যালাসেমিয়া, রক্তক্ষরণ ও প্লেটলেটের সমস্যা, অস্থিমজ্জার অকার্যকারিতা এবং অন্যান্য রক্তের ক্যানসারে তাঁর পরামর্শ নিতে পারেন। রক্তের রোগ নিয়ে উদ্বেগ থাকলে উপযুক্ত বিশেষজ্ঞের সঙ্গে কথা বলা জরুরি। ঢাকায় Ibn Sina Diagnostic Center, Dhanmondi-তে শনিবার, মঙ্গলবার ও বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল ১০টা থেকে দুপুর ১টা পর্যন্ত এবং Green View Clinic-এ সোমবার ও বুধবার ছাড়া সকাল সাড়ে ১১টা থেকে দুপুর ২টা পর্যন্ত তাঁকে দেখানো যায়। একই সময়ে শনিবার, মঙ্গলবার ও বৃহস্পতিবার Narayanganj-এর Popular Diagnostic Center-এও তিনি রোগী দেখেন। সিলেটে Ibn Sina Hospital-এ প্রতি মাসের ২য় ও ৪র্থ শুক্রবার দুপুর ২টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৭টা পর্যন্ত পরামর্শ দেন।
