Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormone condition in women of childbearing age. It often shows up as irregular or missed periods, acne, extra hair on the face or body, weight that is hard to shift, and sometimes difficulty getting pregnant. It is long-term but very manageable, and it raises the risk of diabetes later in life, so it is worth having it checked properly.
Expect questions about your periods, weight and skin, a blood pressure check, and usually an ultrasound of the ovaries along with blood tests for hormones, blood sugar and sometimes thyroid. Bring any earlier reports and a note of your last few period dates.
PCOS itself is rarely an emergency. Do not wait, though, with very heavy bleeding, severe pain low in the tummy, or pain or bleeding after a positive pregnancy test — go to an emergency department.
This is general information, not a diagnosis. Your own doctor will advise on your case.
Every PCOS doctor in Rajshahi we hold a record for — 47 PCOS doctors in all, covering irregular periods, hormonal imbalance, acne, excess hair growth, weight concerns, and fertility problems related to PCOS.
Open any of them to see degrees and training, years in practice, the chamber address in Rajshahi, which days and hours they sit, what the visit costs, and how other patients rated the experience.
Irregular or missed periods, unwanted hair growth, stubborn weight gain and trouble conceiving all sit with a gynecologist first. Where the underlying hormone or insulin picture is the bigger problem, an endocrinologist is usually brought in alongside.

47 at the moment, each with degrees, chamber address, sitting hours and a contact number. New profiles are added as they are verified.
Mostly hospitals and diagnostic centres — Islami Bank Hospital, Rajshahi, Rajshahi Royal Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Micropath Diagnostic Center, Rajshahi and RMB Hospital & Diagnostic Center among them. Open any profile for that doctor's exact chamber address and the days and hours they sit.
There is no booking button here — open the profile you want and ring the chamber's own serial number during its sitting hours. That number and the sitting days are on the profile, and so is the fee where the chamber has shared it.
